Foldable Electric Scooter.

On exhibition at Tokyo Motor Show 2011 Honda represent Motor Compo, a foldable electric scooter. Back in the 80s, Honda created a unique folding electric motorcycle called the Motocompo.

The Motor Compo’s total length and height are under 1 meter (39”), which makes it super compact. It also features a removable battery specifically designed to be used as an emergency power source in case of disaster.

While the original Moto compo looked like a small rider mower, the new design takes its design cues from the Honda humanoid robot Asimo and the U3-X personal mobility system.

We love how the body looks just a bit like a cassette tape player, which does harken back to the 80s, albeit in a different way than the original.
