iPhone 8 Concept
Very Cool iPhone 8 Concept
This iPhone 8 rendering was done by designer Steel Drake from Kyrgyzstan. The concept renders on Behance show a unibody smartphone case formed from a single piece of glass that covers the front and back of the iPhone, and also wraps around the top and bottom of the device. Aluminum inserts on the sides are then home to buttons and antennas.
It has some sort of metal rounded armour on its edges and also with highlighted aluminum corners. The volume button design is kept intact from the current one, and the whole mid section of the device looks dressed up in some sort of plastic rubber combo.
The curves it sports are very subtle and the triple layer of metal at the corners is an interesting idea. First we’ve got the corner per se and then a split area between the corner and the metal edge.
The iPhone 8 has more personality this way, but this also brings a risk: the edges are now bigger, while current modern designs are making edges smaller…
Whether the concept is something that will even be possible in five years or not only time will tell.
