Simplified user interface

Charlie Nghiem reimagined simplified user interface with his Rotor digital camera concept.
Getting rid of buttons all together, a stacked cylinder composed of several rotating parts allows
users to choose their settings. When a section is spun, a corresponding line appears on the screen.

To access the features and menus, just drag the thumb on the cylinder are in order to rotate each function. Each cylinder would correspond to a line displayed on the screen.

Rotor digital camera is definitely very stylish concept. Looks very cool, would look even better with retro designed body. But the question is it really easier to use? Touch screen works much better.
